Homeschooling: It's Not What You Think - Homeschooling has gone mainstream. It has graduations and conventions, yearbooks and extracurriculars. Kids learn at co-ops, on the Internet, at museums and even at public schools.

Education's Needs: Fostering active parents, better teachers - School reform has limitations. It is not fair or reasonable to expect educators to turn every student into one who is college-bound, kind to his peers, eats well and has high self-esteem. The biggest impact comes from the home. Schools can assist, but they do not deserve most of the credit when these things happen, nor do they deserve most of the blame when they do not.
